Too young...
I officiated a funeral on Monday morning for a 46 year old man who after a wonderful evening with his brother's family, died of a heart attack at a Walmart in his hometown that very night. I attended a funeral tonight of a young 27 year old man who was murdered leaving behind two children, the youngest 9 months old. Two lives, too young to go. None of us is promised tomorrow. I pray for these two surviving families...

The Gifts...
We continue our series on, The Spirit today and I'll teach my church specifically about spiritual gifts. What has impacted me most about today's sermon is the thought that if every believer understood the truth about spiritual gifts, at least in our circles, what a powerful difference we could make on the Church and the world. The sad thing is that according to one study, almost 9 in 10 Christians don't even know what their spiritual gift is. You may say reader that, "maybe it's because they don't have one". The Bible teaches that God has given all believers, "everyone" a spiritual gift. That we don't know what it is because of anything, is not God's fault, it is the fault of our human nature. Spiritual gifts are supernatural and cannot be confused with natural talent. Let's all do a profound analysis of ourselves and discover our spiritual gifts. We can make a positive difference and give God all the glory for it...

THE HOLY SPIRIT PRESENT...
Omni-present. Omnipresence is an attribute of God. We know and believe that God is one who actively participates in our lives as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus asserted, as recorded in the Gospels that it was good for us that He go - if He did go, He would send the Counselor; God the Spirit to abide in us and be with us. The Spirit of God or Holy Spirit is present everywhere and He's with us right now reader. Let Him guide us and empower us to live supernatural lives in this natural world...
